Daven P. Cameron

I moved to Las Vegas as a child, and have had the privilege to call this city my home for over 20 years now.

  • Education

After graduating high school, I attended The University of Nevada Las Vegas, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice. I later went on to study law at the William S. Boyd, School of Law, where I graduated with my Juris Doctorate at the top of my class. While in law school, I had the incredible opportunity to intern for The Honorable Richard F. Boulware with the United States District Court for the District of Nevada. I was fortunate to receive several awards for my advocacy skills and was part of the school’s top traveling moot court team. Additionally, I was honored with a scholarship from the Las Vegas Business Academy, which recognizes and helped develop future leaders in our city. I also gained valuable experience externing with the Clark County Public Defender’s Office and traveled to India to research human rights violations. I can truly say I made the most of my time during law school, gained invaluable experience, and really enjoyed my time while learning how to be a lawyer.

After law school, I clerked for The Honorable Nancy L. Allf with the Eighth Judicial District Court of Clark County, Nevada. This experience exposed me to a wide range of legal matters and gave me a behind-the-scenes look at how the court system operates, learning from a highly respected judge.

After my judicial clerkship, I joined a leading national law firm where I practiced commercial and business litigation, representing business clients in various complex cases. This included everything from corporate disputes, breach of contract cases, shareholder derivative lawsuits, and catastrophic personal injury cases. During this time, I was also recognized for my pro bono work and proud of the work I performed for those who could not afford legal representation.

I quickly realized I wanted to help individuals rather than corporations. So, I left the big firm life and started working at a local personal injury law firm. Later, I joined a boutique law firm, representing clients in personal injury and civil rights matters.

With a wide range of experience, including cases involving a $50 million settlement for injured victims, I decided to start Cameron Law - An Injury Firm. My goal is to provide all of my clients with zealous advocacy and top-notch customer service during their personal injury case. At Cameron Law, my entire team prioritizes our clients and leverages my litigation experience and passion for helping people.

I've been honored with numerous awards for my pro bono work in the community and was voted one of Las Vegas’s Legal Elite from 2018 – 2020, received the Super Lawyers award from 2021 – 2024, and have been inducted into the Million Dollar Advocate forum.

I can honestly say that I love my job as a personal injury lawyer and truly believe the work we do helps change lives. When I'm not working, I love spending time with my wife, son, and dog, traveling the world, exercising, and enjoying live music. Give me an ocean and live music and I am a happy guy.
